Surprise [:O] MY FIRST EXAM RESULT SINCE LEAVING SCHOOL IN 1989
Reply Quote

I'm very pleased to let everyone know that I managed to achieve a GRADE C in my English language exam that I sat recently at Sherrardswood School in Welwyn Garden City, and would like to say thankyou to my tutor Dr A Liddle at National Extension College in Cambridge and also a very big thankyou to Sherrardswood School for letting me sit as an external candidate, it was a very good achievement as when I sat as one of the first G.C.S.E students back in 1988 I only managed to achieve a grade E, now I'm hoping to go on to do either a Maths or Science G.C.S.E in the hope that I can later go on to an A level qualification course, not bad for a Mum of two that also works part time in the evening.

It goes to show you that anything is possible, whatever age (30+) so the message out there to fellow students is even if you didn't get the grades you wanted you still have plenty of time to do them if you remain focused.

Congratulations to all the G.C.S.E students whatever their grade.
